Shady Creek Homestead

Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats & More

About us

Shady Creek is home to 11 Nigerian Dwarf goats, 16 chickens, 5 cats, 1 dog and 1 ancient goldfish (& two humans). We breed for increased production and vigor while improving conformation and temperament. We are dedicated to providing the best care and best kids possible, with an emphasis on superior dairy production and friendly disposition. We love healthy goats that happily get on the stand and give quarts and quarts of delicious milk, yet also look right at home in the show ring.

Our Bucks

Our boys are almost a year old now. It’s been too cold here to clean them up after rut, so they are still sporting that stinky buck look the ladies go so wild for, but they are a handsome lot all the same. They are super friendly and I enjoy them a lot more than I expected to. Sometimes they are better behaved than some of my does, who can be real divas.
