Millie is the first goat I ever delivered. She weighed 3.05 pounds at birth, all of it spunk. She immediately abandoned her dam, Sweetie, to climb up my chest and headbutt my face. It was definitely love at first sight for both of us. I spent the next 40 minutes trying not to step or sit on her as I delivered her brother and sister. All three are still here and likely permanent residents at Shady Creek.
Millie is currently expecting her first kids. Ultrasound showed that she is carrying triplets, as is her sister, Jillie. Millie is due October 8, 2026. Jillie is due on Oct 9. These girls do everything together.
